AvenueWest Northern Colorado works with local businesses, as well as individuals and families, to provide turnkey solutions for those in need of short-term furnished housing for a month or longer. When working with business clients, AvenueWest offers custom corporate housing solutions for contractors, consultants or any other employee working away from home for an extended period of time. AvenueWest also provides housing options for many others in need of short-term, furnished rentals including military families, traveling nurses, visiting professors and doctors, athletes, traveling theatre companies, those seeking medical care away from home, relocating individuals and families, and those displaced from their homes after a fire, flood or other natural disaster.
“AvenueWest offers much more than a hotel stay, but rather a home away from home where you can feel settled and comfortable for your time in the property. We make it as easy as possible for clients. Just bring your suitcase,” said Deb Salek, AvenueWest Northern Colorado CEO, Broker, and Owner. “We provide choices for the traveling professional or relocating individual.”
Deb Salek and her husband, Todd Salek, founded AvenueWest Northern Colorado last November, when they recognized a demand for high-quality short term housing in the local area. Deb’s background includes many years in real estate and relocation services. Todd, as COO and the head of business development, brings his vast experience in sales and customer service to AvenueWest and their clients. Todd, having traveled extensively with his previous career with a Fortune 100 company, fully appreciates the value, convenience and amenities of quality corporate housing.
“Our client companies find that it’s much more convenient to work with one point person to coordinate their business’s short-term furnished housing needs,” said Todd. “They are guaranteed to receive consistent quality and service with every property, and never have to worry about dealing with unknown property owners who may have varying quality standards.”
All AvenueWest properties are move-in ready and feature a full kitchen, fine housewares and furnishings, linens and towels, and other comforts of home. All utilities, phone, cable and internet are already connected when clients move in and are included in one rental payment.
AvenueWest Northern Colorado has a variety of properties available and can match an apartment, condo or home to a client’s needs, whether that be the proximity to a business center, downtown, school district or conveniences such as grocery stores, entertainment, recreation, or fitness centers. AvenueWest, in their role as property manager of high-quality rentals, also provides an investment alternative to individuals interested in renting their qualifying furnished homes, condos, or townhouses.
AvenueWest Northern Colorado, a franchise of Denver-based AvenueWest Global Franchise, opened its doors on November 1, 2013 and is owned and managed by Deb Salek, a long-time real estate executive. AvenueWest Northern Colorado fosters the connection between a private landlord of a rental property offered as a short-term, furnished rental with those in need of executive housing such as a traveling business executive, relocated family, traveling professor, athlete or actor and even someone in need of temporary housing during a medical treatment. To offer your property for rent through AvenueWest Northern Colorado, or to find a property during your temporary stay in the area, contact Deb Salek at 970-797-3099 or via email at: DSalek@AvenueWest.com.

Guiding Principles: “‘Life is too short to sit on the sidelines.’ –I’m sure that is a quote from somebody but I’m not sure who. If we can have a positive impact on the people whose lives we touch, and the community that we live in, that’s a good day!”
Why AvenueWest: “…it seems to fit quite a few pieces that we’ve been trying to put together for both our business and personal life. The brand is strong, and has a good value proposition for all of the stakeholders. Coming from a career in residential real estate, I’m excited about the prospect of building a successful business that offers a greater potential income while adhering to a more traditional work schedule. And quite frankly, we think it’s a business we’ll be good at and really enjoy along the way!”
When They Aren’t Working: “Spare time? Is there such a thing? Outside of juggling our kids’ sports and school activities, we try to take full advantage of the “Colorado lifestyle” with outdoor fun of the current season (skiing, hiking, camping, biking, etc.). Travel is a huge passion, and enjoying a glass of wine and dinner with friends is always good! We dabble with cooking, love reading, and have fantasies about painting a picture for our dining room wall, and writing a children’s book too someday.”
